The morning of Monday February 8, 2010 a motorist crashed his sports utility vehicles into a house southwest of downtown Houston.  Police said they tried to pull the driver over on Vassar at around 1:30am when the motorist sped west and at some point turned off his headlights in an effort to evade officers.  The driver lost control near the intersection of Vassar and Woodhead and hit the home, damaging it but causing no injury to three people sleeping inside.  The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.  Read the story here.
