Houston attorney Tony Peterson is an experienced businessman and lawyer who handles wrongful death, premises liability, car accident, and truck accident cases at Smith & Hassler.

A fourth-generation Houstonian, Attorney Peterson graduated cum laude from the Kinkaid School, before attending The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, where he was named a College Scholar, majoring in the Business Honors Program and finance, and minoring in Spanish. He then earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at The University of Houston Law Center, the highest-ranked law school in Houston, where he excelled at trial advocacy and negotiations.

Throughout law school, Attorney Peterson gained litigation experience across hundreds of cases working for Harris County, protecting the legal rights of the county’s citizens, and for Smith & Hassler, fighting for compensation for those injured by the negligence and wrongful acts of others.

In his spare time, Attorney Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife and family, slow-smoking barbecue, and feeding barbecue to his rescued labrabull, Grace.
